Why we made Claude the UI (and Scout the context)
Most reporting tools bolt AI onto a dashboard. We did the opposite - Claude is where the work happens, and Scout is the agency context underneath it. Here's the thinking.
Every client-reporting tool eventually adds an “AI” button. It summarises a chart, or drafts a paragraph from a dashboard you already had to build. The dashboard is still the product; the AI is a feature.
We think that’s backwards for agencies.
The account manager doesn’t want a dashboard
The job on a Monday morning isn’t “look at charts.” It’s “write the update, in our voice, with the right numbers, for this specific client.” A dashboard makes you do the writing.
So we inverted it. Claude is the interface. The account manager asks for the Monday report the way they’d ask a sharp junior who knows the account. Scout is the context layer that makes Claude actually know the account: structured per-client memory, the agency’s voice profile, decision rules, and live data from Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta, Search Console and GA4.
