What the account manager does today

The Monday tax.

Open Shopify. Open Meta. Open Klaviyo. Open the doc template from last week. Pull the numbers. Remember what you said about this client’s ROAS target. Rewrite the intro because last week’s tone was off. Check the lead’s style guide. Fix the headline. Repeat for every client.

A five-client account manager can lose the better part of a Monday morning. A fifteen-client team loses a person. And the work is the same shape every week, 52 weeks a year.

A real report. Not a template with blanks.

Headline performance summary - the one paragraph the client reads first. KPI commentary against the targets you set. Per-channel write-ups for whatever’s connected - paid social, email, organic. Recommendations grounded in this week’s data and the client’s strategic priorities. Audit trail of platform changes from the campaign log.

Each draft is fully editable in Claude. Promote a fact mid-edit, change the voice for one client, snapshot a version before exporting - all without leaving the chat.

Finalise the draft, publish to a private URL, send it to the client’s primary contact - all from the same Claude conversation. Every send is logged. Every published report has a snapshot history.

Three things Scout deliberately doesn’t do.

Not a dashboard. We don’t show charts as a product surface. Charts only render inline in published reports, when they earn it.
Not a template. The output is actual prose, in your voice, written for this client this week.
Not auto-send. You always review the draft before it leaves. Scout writes; the account manager ships.
FAQ

Common questions about Monday reports.

When is the draft ready?

Scout pre-assembles each client’s draft on Sunday night, so it’s waiting in Claude by Monday morning - you open Claude, ask for the client, and start editing rather than building.

Can I change what’s in the report?

Yes. Sections are scope-driven and editable in Claude - promote a fact mid-edit, reorder, cut a channel, or adjust the recommendation. The capability map only includes sections it can actually report on.

Does Scout send reports to clients automatically?

No. Scout drafts; you review and send. Nothing leaves without an account manager approving it. You can publish to a private link or send to the client’s contact from the same conversation.

What if a client only runs one or two channels?

The report adapts. A paid-social-only client gets a paid-social-led report; a full-funnel client gets the full structure. No empty headings for channels that aren’t connected.

The biggest mistake we see in digital is misunderstanding the levers - assuming black-and-white results from pulling just one. The reality is they work together. Scout solves this.
